RemoPhos AL 1-3mm - Aluminum-based phosphate adsorber

RemoPhos Al removes quickly and safely large amounts of phosphate, silicate, humic acids, organic pollutants and dyes, as well as unwanted trace elements (arsenic, barium, fluoride) and phosphorus compounds from your aquarium. No harmful substances will be released. The pollutants bind firmly to the surface of the adsorber and will not be released again. Thus, the nutrient content of the aquarium can be kept very low and the water always remains clear. Unwanted algae growth can be effectively prevented.
RemoPhos Al is very effective and was developed for the application in nutrient-rich tanks. Therefore, it should not be used when phosphate levels are low (below 0.03 mg/l), and nitrate levels are undetectable.

Application:
Quickly rinse RemoPhos Al before usage.

Start with a maximum of 25g RemoPhos Al per 100l of water. After two weeks you can increase to a maximum of up to 50g per 100l of water. This dosage should never be exceeded!
The phosphate concentration should be checked regularly during the application. If the phosphate value increases, the adsober should be renewed.

RemoPhos Al should be used in a filter or filter chamber with a relatively moderate throughflow. To achieve the best results, an upstream particle and activated carbon filter is recommended.

RemoPhos Al should not be used in a fluidized bed filter, as the whirling around could abrade and release the adsorbed phosphate, as well as components of the adsorbent.
In case of extremely high nutrient levels, it may take some time before a measurable phosphate reduction can be achieved, as phosphorus compounds are bound first. As a result, the water will become significantly clearer first. Furthermore, a slight yellow coloration of the adsorbent occurs.
RemoPhos Al can get warm when it comes into contact with water.
