Shown is a Micromussa "Mardi Gras", a hard coral species of the Lobophylliidae family.
It is a widespread large polyp stony coral (LPS), which is found on shallow reefs in the Indo-Pacific.
"Mardi Gras" is the French word for fat Tuesday.
The name is probably an allusion to the different strong colours of the coral.
