Special salt mix for reducing the kH value

Unwanted high kH values often occur in marine aquariums as a result of incorrect dosing of water additives or an incorrectly adjusted calcium reactor. This can lead to stagnation of coral growth and even death of the coral tissue. The optimal kH value in a marine aquarium is kH 6° - 10°.

CoralMarine kH Zero contains many trace elements and micronutrients essential for corals, invertebrates and fish, but NO kH builders.

CoralMarine kH Zero is made from premium pharmaceutical grade chemicals. When dissolved in osmosis water, CoralMarine kH Zero contains 0° kH and up to 1380 mg/l magnesium and 440 mg/l calcium.

Application:

- Always use reverse osmosis water so that NO unwanted kH input can occur.

- Temper the initial water to 23° 25°C (73.5 - 77°F).

- Provide sufficient water circulation in the water tank with a pump.

- DO NOT use an air vent for mixing the water.

- Dissolve the appropriate amount of salt in the water. NEVER add the water to the salt.

- After dissolving, check the density of the mixed salt water.

- After the salt is completely dissolved, the water can be used immediately.

   A "pre-ageing", as sometimes recommended with other salts, is not necessary.

- We recommend a salinity of 33-34 %o or a density of 1021-1022 g/l at 25°C (77°F).

Reduction of the kH-value:

1%, or 10% water change with CoralMarine kH Zero lowers the kH value by 1%, or 10% in the aquarium.

For higher quantities, dosing should be done over several days.
