- The 1st hose must be longer and ALWAYS below the waterline
- The 2nd hose is shortened to the length corresponding to the water level.
Now, if the water level falls in the aquarium, then air can penetrate through the 2nd hose in the reservoir and water flows through the 1st hose into the aquarium.
Until the second tube is under water again. The air supply is stopped and the refill water stops flowing
